Terms and Conditions for DLEA Ministries Group Mission Trips
1. ACCEPTANCE OF COMMITMENT.
Upon commitment to a group mission trip with DLEA Ministries the terms and conditions set forth herein become a binding contract between the Participant and DLEA Ministries. This contract becomes valid upon receipt of deposit by DLEA Ministries at its office or representatives office. The Participant agrees by tender of payment that the itinerary has been reviewed and that it meets the Participant's expectations and requests.
2. ITINERARY
DLEA Ministries or its representative will write a tentative itinerary listing scheduled daily activities. In the event of a difference between information contained in the brochure or on the Internet web site, the language of the itinerary shall control.
3. TRIP COST.
The cost of a trip shall be $450 per person plus the current cost of an airline ticket. DLEA works exceedingly hard to keep the price of the trip as cost effective for each team member as possible. This cost shall include round trip air fare, all airport taxes and government departure taxes,all ground transportation, room and 3 moderate meals per day for the duration of the trip. Additional money for the purchase of incidentals, souvenirs, etc. shat be at the expenses of the team member. All Airline tickets are made by and through DLEA Ministries unless prior agreement has been made.
4. PAYMENT
Commitment to a group mission trip requires a deposit of $100 of the published cost of the trip no less than 90 days before scheduled departure. A total of $450 of the cost of the trip should be paid 60 days prior to deparutre date. If the final portion of the package price is not paid when required, DLEA Ministries has the right to treat the reservation as cancelled. Payments are to be made via bank check, money order or bank wire transfer.
5. RESPONSIBILITY
DLEA Ministries responsibility and liability does not extend to personal injury, property damage or acts of negligence or omission related to any facilities, equipment or transportation related to the group mission trip. DLEA Ministries cannot be held responsible for any part of the group mission trip that might be missed because of cancellations or delays of commercial airlines. The Participant/Traveler is responsible for being in good and reasonable health and DLEA Ministries cannot be held responsible for any accident or health-related issues.
Note: DLEA Ministries recommends that the Participant/Traveler acquire traveler’s health insurance, if the Participant/Traveler current health insurance does not provide coverage outside the country that it was issued.
6. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER
No warranties or guarantees, express or implied, are made that the group mission trip experience will meet all of the Participants/Traveler’s expectations, mainly regarding weather conditions.
7. GENERAL INFORMATION
Rates include: Reception at International Airport La Aurora in Guatemala City, all necessary ground transportation during the entire trip, sleeping accommodations, 3 meals per day (breakfast of coffee and toast and jellies; a full evening meal; sandwich materials available for lunch if desired and schedule permits) DLEA Ministries pre-trip information containing detailed packing travel information and helpful advice.
8. NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE
As previously stated, all Airline ticketing is made by and through DLEA Ministries unless prior agreement has been made. All Participants/Travelers must arrive and depart from the airport in Guatemala within a reasonable length of time of all team members to provided transportation to the mission facilities of DLEA Ministries. Flight arrivals and departures, if arranged for and purchased by the Participant/Traveler, must be approved by DLEA Ministries for ground transportation purposes.
