Since 1982 the focal point of the ministry has been in Guatemala, where teams of volunteers go with Danny to minister to the hurting, hopeless and helpless people of Guatemala. The teams have medical clinics in each village, give food and clothing and other items to give the people a better quality of life.
For hundreds of widows and abandoned families, small houses (perhaps 10 ft. x 12 ft.) made of corn stalks and plastic have been replaced with larger simple houses made of laminated metal which keep them dry. These new homes can be safely locked and improve their lives. These special homes are built on each of our missions by our teams. Many times beds are bought for

GROUP MISSIONS
women and children sleeping on a straw mat on a dirt floor or 4 – 6 people sleeping in one small broken down bed. It takes approximately $450 (US) to build a house. It is our goal to build 8 to 10 of these per trip. Clothes, food and other needed items are always given as abundantly as possible to these poor families.
At night during a mission, the Gospel is shared through films, preaching, tracts and Bibles in the remote mountain villages of Guatemala, many in which no evangelistic effort has been made. We have worked in over 60 villages, many of them several times over. It cost approximately $1000.00 (US) per village to buy and deliver the beans, corn or rice and medicine (primarily treatment of parasites and malnutrition) we use nightly. Hundreds come and
stand in line for several hours to receive medicine, food and clothing. After physical needs are met, needs of the soul are met.
The greatest way DLEA impacts lives is through the love of Jesus seen in the lives of DLEA mission team. Hundreds of people receive Christ into their hearts through the presentation of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Perhaps you will consider going on one of these missions, fulfilling the commission of our Lord Jesus to take the gospel into all the world. More than ever we need people to go on these trips. Guatemala would make a great mission trip for church mission. (ages 16+)
